Ephesians 6:2 KJV‬
 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise.
A father is more than a biological parent. A father is a man who lovingly accepts the responsibility of nurturing, guiding, protecting, providing for, and influencing the lives of his children.
Therefore if you see a man taking responsibility and fulfilling the role  of a father, even when the children are not his biological children please honour him with everything in your disposal.
