As a child of God, you can  survive the present day hardship by confessing and acting on the word of God. Allowing your fears and doubts to dominate and overshadow the word of God in your mouth will make you to continue in patching and leaking. Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.  Today, self-control is one of fruits of the spirit we need to live above the challenges of the hour. Our lifestyles promote self gratification rather than selfcontrol, people do not see the need to restrain their actions and reactions thereby causing damages to relationships and marriages. If you ignore this fruit of the spirit call Self-control, it may lead to a character disaster that may effect everyone around you. Just thinking series. Matthew 12:36-37 (NLT)  And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.  In the court room of heaven your idle words are the evidence the devil is using to deny you answers to your prayers. Watch out for the negative things you are saying against yourself and the ones you speak against other people. it is one the legal ground that the devil is standing on to hinder your prayers. They drive away sadness and cheer up the soul beyond all common appreciation.
