Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. Today many Churches are doing the same thing, sometimes churches focus on rituals, rules, social causes or entertainment more than the word of God and it's message of salvation. These things may be good and useful but they become evil when they replace God's Word. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense.

Matthew 7:24 NLT “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.  The durability of a structure is determine by it's foundation. Take time to do what you are doing, you are not competing with anyone. Allow your root to go deep down in to the word so that you can stand the test of time. The Lord reminds.
