John 20:28-29 (NLT)  “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed. Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
To give the truth to him that loves it not is to give him more multiplied reasons for misinterpretation. Mark 9:23 KJV‬
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are 
possible to him that believeth.
