2 Timothy 2:15.KJV. 
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. To maintain the spiritual robustness of character, you must obey the laws of spiritual hygiene which is feeding regularly on the word of God, anything less than that is equal to spiritual malnutrition. 
Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, 'It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'' The word should be your shepherd so that you will not want. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense.

Take time to do what you are doing, you are not competing with anyone. Allow your root to go deep down in to the word so that you can stand the test of time. The Lord reminds.
