1 John 4:7-8.KJV.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Your love for God is measured by how you deal with people around you. If you claim to love God and fail to first love the people around you, it proves that you don't know God. First love yourself, then love your neighbor which is the same thing as loving God. 1 John 4:12.KJV.  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
