Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
It was Bertrand Russell who said that "Unless you assume a God, the question of life purpose is meaningless" A lot of people a having issues with their life purpose because of wrong questions. The solution to your confusion is not inside of you but in God.  Go to the Holy Spirit for your answers. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense.
