It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Be careful to notice the people that surrounds you in life, most of them will want you to hear what you will like to hear but not the truth. Have someone around you to always tell you the truth and make sure you appreciate and respect him or her for the role. 
Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
