1 John 5:11-12. KJV. 
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
The meaning of life is best understood  in Christ. To enjoy eternal life, you must go through the Son, and if you are not interested in the Son, forget about eternal life.. He is knocking at the door of your heart right now. If you open, He will come in and demystify the challenges you are going through right now. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense. Enjoy your day.
