Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
One of the tragedies of life is not death but a life without purpose.
Your question of origin, identity, meaning, destiny, purpose and significance can only be found in God not inside of you. Do not forget that you were created by God before you were born by your mother, therefore to live a meaningful life, you should seek the will of God for your life, not what your will.
