Matt. 23:3. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. It is tragically possible to be a guide post and not a guide, to be an exhorter and not an example: to point out the way to others and yet not walk in the same way yourself. It is said that the great peril of inconsistence living lies in the fact that it produces the blasphemers of God's name and of His doctrine. I hope you know that allowing illogical lifestyle to negate a logical argument will make you lose those you need to reach out to.
