Luke 1: 60. NIV. And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John. It would have been normal for John the Baptist to be named after his father, Zachariah meaning " Remembered of the Lord" However, he was to have a total different name, John, meaning  "God is gracious" Spiritually speaking these names are highly significant which marks a departure from family tradition and from old testament law of sacrifice to the new testament salvation by grace. God was no longer to simply "Remember" humanity but to be "Gracious" to humanity. Enjoy His grace. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense.

Matthew 7:24 NLT “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.  The durability of a structure is determine by it's foundation. Take time to do what you are doing, you are not competing with anyone. Allow your root to go deep down in to the word so that you can stand the test of time. The Lord reminds. Just thinking Series. 2 Kings 6:17 NLT Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. In this month of March, the Holy Spirit  Will open your eyes to see those that He has assigned to work with you.
