When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. Have you thought of why the friends of the man that was lowered from the roof went that far?. Now that you in position to help, support, encourage or care for someone, please do not hesitate. Remember it was his friends faith that healed the man. Who knows what the man has done for them. Think, and may the Lord give you understanding. Just making an uncommon Spiritual sense.
