1 Peter 2:17.NLT. Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king. Fondness means respect and admiration of all people everywhere. It means what the Spanish described as "treat the lesser as you will like the greater to treat you" Remember that if God is our father it means that, that all men and women are our brothers and sisters, irrespective of their colour, race or religious persuasion.
