John 8:32 KJV 
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Do you know that truth is confrontational? You can hear the truth, see the truth yet you are miles away from it, because you don't love the truth. 
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Therefore giving the truth to a person that loves it not, is giving the person more material for misinterpretations. 
JESUS CHRIST is the Truth. Just making an uncommon spiritual sense.  TGIF. Enjoy your day.
