If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
Do not talk too much about yourself. The person who makes himself the principal object of conversation is regarded as an umitigared nuisance and a bore, and often shunned by others. Allow your works to speak for you.
