The cultures of the kingdom.
The Cultures Of The Kingdom
Culture is defined as the ideas, beliefs and customs that are accepted by the people in a society or the attitudes and beliefs about something that are shared by a particular group or organisation.
We have cultures in the kingdom of God, and one of such cultures is the Holy Spirit and His baptism.
I know some of us have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, but there are still others that need these first principles of the Oracles of God, which will make their journey in the kingdom a fruitful one.
Joh 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Joh 15:26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
Joh 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Joh 16:8 "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
The Holy Spirit's infilling is one of the cultures of the kingdom of God that is highly needed for us to operate in the kingdom effectively.
Christianity without power is equal to social club. (egbekegbe) (agam n'ibem agaa)
We need this power to witness for the kingdom. The reason why Peter led the other disciples back to fishing business in John 21, is because they lacked this power. The reason why there are lots of people faking the power of God is because they don't have the Holy Spirit infilling.
At new birth, the Holy Spirit was promised and was eventually given.
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
Joh 3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Just because someone is born again does not mean he or she is filled with Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
