Spiritual Aristocracy and The Simplicity of the Gospel
There are people who are too wise to be simple Believers. They know so much that they do not believe anything that is plain and simple. They have a way of stepping over the boundaries and the instructions of the Holy spirit. There is no milk that ever came fresh from a cow that is good enough for them. They have a way of over- spiritualizing the things of God. When they select a text, they will never explain the true meaning but instead they dig around to discover something that the Holy spirit never intended to convey by it.
Apostle Paul writing to the Corinthian Church said in 2 Corinthians 11 vs 3. ''for I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtility. So your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ''. As a spiritual aristocrat, you may not receive anything from God, except you come down from the height of your opinion and align with the dictates of the Holy spirit and as a believer do not let anyone corrupt your mind from the simplicity of the gospel. Psalm 119 vs 130.
God will keep bypassing the high and the mighty and always want to do business with the simple. Why don't you become a babe in His hand and watch Him relate and collaborate with you for a great assignment. Matthew 11vs25.
John the Baptist was one of the men in the Bible that had a proper understanding of his place in the kingdom affairs: no wonder God had to bypass the people that mattered in his day's to locate him and do business with him while in the wilderness. Luke 3vs1-2.
Arrogating to yourself the position of a spiritual aristocrat will not be of any benefit to you, rather, it will Rob you of your fellowship with the father.
